Statistical reference tables are shown for the distributions of numerical scores of diagnostic and screening polygraphs . Discussion is provided regarding the importance of statistical reference data to help understand the polygraph test results as probabilistic information as opposed to determinis tic observation or physical/mechanical measurement of deception.
